The ANWETECH QRR3.0G/S-XR Hot Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Device is a compact, non-pressurized fixed fire suppression unit designed for rapid fire control in relatively enclosed protected spaces.
The device contains an aerosol-forming compound, cooling material, thermal activation component, electrical starter, internal cylinder and external housing. When activated, the extinguishing agent is rapidly generated and discharged into the protected area to suppress the fire.
The system is particularly suitable for locations where conventional water-based fire suppression may not be practical, including electrical cabinets, energy storage equipment, telecommunications systems, cable areas, machinery and vehicle compartments.
According to the source manual, the device is designed for fires involving Class A surface materials, Class B flammable liquids or meltable solids, Class C gases and energized electrical equipment.
The QRR3.0G/S-XR contains approximately 3 kg of aerosol fire-extinguishing agent.

Multiple aerosol extinguishing units can be connected according to the approved system design and control-panel output capacity.
The source manual states that the electrical starting terminals do not require polarity distinction, and that the feedback circuit is normally used only as a switching signal rather than for directly controlling high-power loads.
When the aerosol unit is integrated with a fire alarm / suppression system, the typical operating sequence is:
Fire Detection → Fire Alarm → Pre-discharge Delay → Equipment / Ventilation Shutdown → Aerosol Activation → Fire Suppression → Activation Feedback
After confirmed fire detection, the suppression controller sends an electrical activation signal to the aerosol unit.
The aerosol-forming compound is activated and rapidly generates the extinguishing aerosol.
The aerosol spreads throughout the protected enclosure and suppresses the fire.
The feedback contact changes state to indicate that the extinguishing device has operated.

The source manual specifies monthly electrical and visual inspections and a service life of approximately 10 years when correctly installed and maintained.

Personnel should not stand directly in front of the aerosol discharge outlet.
