The AT-ESS02 Explosion-Proof Sounder Beacon is designed for industrial and hazardous area fire alarm applications where both audible and visual warning signals are required.
It is suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas atmospheres of Group IIA, IIB and IIC, with temperature classes T1 to T6. It can also be used in Zone 21 and Zone 22 explosive dust atmospheres.
When an emergency such as a fire occurs, the fire alarm control panel sends an activation signal to the AT-ESS02. The device then emits sound and light alarm signals to warn personnel in the protected area.
This product is commonly used as part of an explosion-proof fire alarm system in oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, storage, industrial plant and other hazardous locations.

The AT-ESS02 operates with DC 24V power input.
For wiring, open the housing cover by loosening the screws, then connect the DC 24V power cables to the terminal block. The manual states that polarity is not sensitive.
The device is typically activated by a fire alarm control panel or manual call point. When the alarm signal is received, it produces audible and visual alarm output.
No relay output is specified in the uploaded manual.
Important installation note: Do not disassemble the unit while it is powered on in a hazardous area. During installation, the flameproof joint surfaces must not be damaged and must be kept clean.
