Description

Product Overview

AT-EG01 LPG Gas Detector is designed for fixed installation in areas where LPG leakage may occur. According to the product manual, the AT-EG01 gas detector can be equipped with a corresponding sensor module according to the target gas, and the target gas, detection range and alarm setpoints are specified on the product nameplate.

The detector provides real-time gas concentration display and current alarm status indication. It supports 4-20mA analog output, RS485 digital communication with Modbus RTU protocol and passive relay contact output for alarm or system linkage.

With die-cast aluminum housing, Ex d IIC T6 explosion-proof rating, IP66 ingress protection and DC24V industrial power supply, AT-EG01 LPG Gas Detector is suitable for LPG leakage monitoring in gas storage areas, LPG cylinder rooms, gas pipeline areas and other industrial gas safety applications.

Installation / Mounting Notes

The detector must be installed where gas leakage is likely to occur.

For gases denser than air, the detector should be installed near the potential leakage source at a height of 0.3 to 0.6 meters above the ground or floor level, with the sensor element facing downward.

General installation notes:

Choose a location free from impact, vibration and strong electromagnetic interference.

Ensure easy access for maintenance and calibration.

Keep a minimum 0.5 m clearance from surrounding pipes and equipment.

Route the cable through the cable gland.

A sealing operation with 2 cm of epoxy resin potting compound is required at the wiring port.

Do not open the cover when energized.

Use proper grounding through the internal and external grounding bolts.
