Overview

The AT-EB02 Explosion-Proof Reflective Beam Smoke Detector is a reflective-type linear beam smoke detector developed for large open areas with no obstructions. It continuously monitors infrared beam attenuation caused by smoke particles, providing early fire detection before flames develop.

With built-in intelligent algorithms, the detector automatically compensates for environmental changes and ensures stable operation in harsh conditions. Explosion-proof construction and high ingress protection make it suitable for demanding industrial applications.

Operating Principle

The detector emits an infrared beam toward a reflector installed at the opposite side. Under normal conditions, the reflected beam is received and analyzed continuously. When smoke enters the detection path, light attenuation increases. Once the preset alarm threshold is reached, the detector triggers a fire alarm, activates the buzzer and LED indicators, and outputs alarm signals to the fire alarm system.
