GD209 Lithium-Ion Battery Thermal Runaway & Off-Gas Detector

No.AT-GD209

The ANWETECH AT-GD209 is a configurable multi-sensor detector designed for early warning of lithium-ion battery thermal runaway and emergency alarm during developing fire conditions.

Depending on the ordered configuration, the detector can monitor CO, H₂, VOC, smoke and temperature inside a lithium-ion battery enclosure. It supports CAN and RS485 communication, dry-contact feedback/input, and a 24 VDC active output for configured alarm actions.

Description

Product Overview

Lithium-ion battery abnormal conditions can generate characteristic gases, smoke, temperature changes and other warning signals before an open-flame fire develops.

The AT-GD209 monitors the configured parameters inside the protected battery enclosure and uses multi-sensor data to classify developing conditions into warning and alarm stages. According to the selected sensor configuration, the detector supports up to four internal alarm levels.

The detector can operate as part of a battery monitoring architecture using CAN communication to a BMS, or it can communicate with a compatible controller through CAN or RS485. Where a traditional fire alarm control panel is involved, interface compatibility must be checked and an appropriate interface, relay or monitor module may be required.

AT-GD209 is a configurable platform. The actual sensor combination, alarm thresholds, alarm levels, communication mode and terminal assignments must follow the ordered configuration supplied with the unit.
