Product Description

The UL Highriser Y Strainer Flanged-Grooved Ends 300PSI  is designed to protect valves, meters and other key components in fire protection and water distribution systems by removing rust, scale and solid particles from the flow. The Y-shaped body offers a large straining area with relatively low pressure loss, and the screen can be accessed via the bolted cover for quick cleaning and maintenance.

The body and cover are made from ductile iron ASTM A536 65-45-12 and are fusion bonded epoxy coated RAL3002 inside and outside for excellent corrosion resistance. A stainless steel AISI 304 screen provides durable filtration, with EPDM gasket and carbon steel drain plug. One end is flanged and the other is grooved: flanged connection is drilled to ANSI B16.1 Class 125 / ANSI B16.5 Class 150 / EN1092-2 PN16 / BS10 Table D / Table E, while the grooved end suits ANSI or BS standard pipe (AWWA C606).

With a working pressure of 300 psi and temperature range from –10°C to 120°C, this UL Listed flanged–grooved Y strainer is ideal for fire mains, sprinkler systems and general water lines, supplied by a reliable China manufacturer.
